Saber's Taste of India – Authentic, Flavorful Indian Cuisine in Kingston, ON

Absolutely delicious Indian Food! We ordered take out and the person on the phone addressed very well a gluten allergy. All food was very flavourful and the meat was very tender. The portions are well sized. Rice has to be ordered in addition to the mains. Will definitely be back for other dishes.

Randomly decided to have dinner here while visiting Kingston and we’ll definitely be back! I mean… we even ate all of the papadam (which for us never happens) because it was buttery and had such a nice garlic flavor. Naan was great. Onion fritters were tasty. Lamb and chicken dishes on point. There’s a nice, quiet dining room. Saber served us and was super friendly and fun… we’ll be back to try spicier dishes next time!

We come to Saber's regularly and love his food and service and reasonable prices. It is consistently fresh, hot and delicious. The plates are wiped at the table and are heated which is unheard of. It is a lovely quiet restaurant which is so hard to find. You can take out as well as eat in. It is one of our favourite places to eat. Saber is a gracious and charming host. If you enjoy amazing Indian food, don't miss out!

Dined here with family while visiting Kingston. Fantastic food, flavour, portion, and quality. The owner has decorated the dining room beautifully and shared with us the origins of some of the artwork. Highly recommend!

An incredibly enjoyable experience. Saber, the owner, has taken a small space and made it both comfortable and welcoming. The flavours are incredibly good and the portion sizes are generous. But I most noticed how friendly Saber himself is, and just what a good feeling eating here has. Highly, highly recommend.

We love Indian food and decided to try this restaurant for take out. We LOVED our dinner! The food was delicious and the servings were generous. Nothing was too spicy for our tastes. Prices are very reasonable and service was friendly and helpful.

If you haven’t tried Saber’s Taste of India on Princess in the west end yet …. you are seriously missing out. Hands down some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Kingston, maybe anywhere. The Masala Lamb? Incredible. Tender, rich, perfectly spiced , it’s impossible to have just one bite. The Butter Chicken is everything you want it to be: creamy, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. But the real hit, the Chicken Madras , unbelievably delicious with just the right kick of heat and depth of flavor that lingers in the best way. But what makes the experience even better is Saber himself. He’s not just the owner; he’s the heart behind the food. You can feel how much pride, care, and love he puts into every single dish, and it makes everything taste that much better. There’s nothing better than knowing your meal was made by someone who truly loves what they do. Support local , you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to go back! 5 Stars !!A Hidden Gem in the West End!
